South Side Security Survey
South Side Lock & Key is pleased to offer a new consultation service beginning in 2011: The S3 Survey. Are you concerned that the security hardware in your home or business might not be adequate? Are you wondering if a particular locking device is installed/operating correctly? Are you thinking there might be a better way to structure your master key system? The S3 is the way to go. Each survey entitles you to the following services:
- A full ‘door-to-door’ inspection/evaluation of your home or facility, paying close attention to the operational integrity of each piece of door hardware, whether it be a deadbolt, panic bar, mortise lock or door closer. *
- An evaluation of your existing master key system(facility or property management customers typically) with an eye towards efficiency of use and security of key control.
- Suggestions as to how to solve any found maintenance, operational, or other security issues discovered. This will include, but is not necessarily limited to, written recommendations as to how South Side products and services might be used to remedy a given ‘problem’ area.**
The S3 includes up to 1hr. of on-site service for residential customers and up to 3hrs. on site for commercial facilities; with an additional hour of report preparation time off site(if necessary).

* The S3 Survey does not include evaluations of integrated access control systems employing magnetic, electric strike, or other wired devices. We will, however, be happy to offer suggestions on how to change from such a system or how to modify the purely mechanical components of that system.
**South Side does not repair doors or door frames. Any issue associated with both the lock mechanism and the door/frame condition might often require the use of a separate contractor to remedy the door problem before any lock repair can be effective.
