South Side currently provides a limited range of automotive locksmith services due to both the relatively broad variety of automotive lock and key issues and to the relatively small size of our operation. We have chosen the following as our focus:
- Vehicle openings, any make or model year
- Mechanical key origination for most non-transponder ignitions*
- GM ‘VATS’ ignition keys
South Side does not repair or replace automotive ignition switch locks or door locks. Additionally our key generation capabilities rely on all locks being in good working condition and original to the vehicle.
*Domestic autos only at this time---Ford, Chrysler, GM
